On May 26, 2009, members and their guests met at the Main Museum Complex, WPAFB. Registration is required to take the shuttle bus to the Presidential & R. & D. Galleries, where the past Presidents’ “Air Force 1” planes were displayed. A number of the R & D past projects were also in those Galleries. The RESC group met for lunch at the Officers’ Club. After a very fine lunch, PHD and Aeronautical Engineer, Squire Brown, spoke to the group on the history and development of the U.S. Air Force. He distributed copies of a wonderful book that he had authored on the subject.
After lunch, members visited their areas of interest with four galleries to choose from.
