A week after Docent, Connie Rave’s marvelous presentation in October, 2008 for , “Frank Duveneck and Other Local Artists”, she conducted a tour of the Cincinnati Wing for 18 members and wives. What a difference it makes having a Fine Arts expert as tour guide! Among other items, we learned that Duveneck was brought to Cincinnati from Europe by Rookwood Pottery to teach their young artists. We saw interesting examples of Rookwood Pottery. Lunch at the museum dining room.
